How does community-centric fundraising show up in the written word when we're communicating directly with donors? This conversation will focus on donor emails, solicitation letters, annual reports, and other nonprofit communications that are geared towards a donor audience. There is a way in which development staff can create spaces for donor education and engagement, while spotlighting narratives that lift the work and successes of the community programming we support. Bring a piece for constructive critique or celebration to be workshopped in a small group setting.

Community Centrism focuses on breaking down barriers between the people who support our mission with gifts of time and treasure and those who benefit from the work directly. If we are community centric - we are all part of one community. Join us to workshop conversations with supporters that facilitate honesty and transparency. What gets in the way? What is possible when we break down the barriers? Let’s find out together.
